Our long-length PE pipe solutions are engineered to safely bring subsea power cables ashore – installed via open trenching or Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD).

Why long lengths matter

We manufacture continuous PE pipes up to 2,500 meters in a single continuous length directly from the factory and out in the fjord – eliminating the need for multiple welds, increasing certainty of uniform performance and significantly reducing installation risk.

Designed for demanding installations

Our solutions are engineered to perform under the most challenging landfall conditions. The pipes are designed to withstand high tensile forces and tight bending radii in HDD installations, ensuring reliability throughout the installation process. A smooth inner surface reduces cable pull-in forces and minimizes the risk of cable damage.

For high-performance cable systems, we offer high-temperature resin solutions capable of providing reliable performance at temperatures up to 100°C. In addition, flexible SDR classes provide adaptability to varying ground conditions and installation requirements. To further improve efficiency, pipes can be supplied with a pre-installed pulling head, reducing on-site handling and preparation work.

Efficient logistics and installation

Efficiency is built into every stage of the process. By eliminating the need for on-site welding, all critical joints are completed in a controlled factory environment, ensuring consistent quality and reducing installation risk. Pipes are towed to the handover point, either in advance for on-site preparation, or programmed to be delivered just-in-time (DAP) to suit the installer, providing efficiencies in storage and handling and minimizing logistical complexity.

Our unique towing concept is a highly efficient method of delivery, massively reducing the need for traditional heavy vehicle transportation and packaging, contributing to both efficiency and sustainability. The solution is particularly well suited for sites with limited accessibility or space, as it requires little or no onshore storage. Fewer on-site operations also result in shorter installation times and improved project execution.
